00:00:02.399 Welcome to Crossexamined with the
00:00:04.560 Gerbers. I am Megan Gerber. This is Ken
00:00:07.520 Gerber.
00:00:11.360 And Ken, we have a special guest today.
00:00:14.320 >> Yes, we do. We have our self-proclaimed
00:00:16.640 number one fan.
00:00:17.600 >> Yes, I I named him our number one fan.
00:00:20.320 >> Gotcha.
00:00:21.039 >> It is Isaac. Isaac, do you want to come
00:00:23.279 over and wave to the wave to the
00:00:25.359 audience? Walk through. Come on over by
00:00:28.240 the table.
00:00:29.679 and turn around and look in the Hold on.
00:00:32.238 Back it up. Can you see yourself in the
00:00:34.880 camera? Look on that TV.
00:00:38.320 >> Come back over by me. Maybe come by me,
00:00:40.239 Isaac. Come over this way. You can see
00:00:42.000 yourself right there. Bend down a little
00:00:43.920 bit.
00:00:44.239 >> Look at that camera right there.
00:00:46.960 >> Spot down.
00:00:47.680 >> Squatch down. Sweetie, look in that TV.
00:00:51.039 >> Sweetie, look in that TV. Do you see
00:00:52.320 your face?
00:00:55.840 >> See yourself. See?
00:00:57.199 >> And look in the TV. Say
00:00:59.760 >> wave.
00:01:01.359 >> He’s our number one fan. Now go by Ken.
00:01:04.400 >> Now come over here and look in the same
00:01:07.520 at that TV. Bend down a little bit. Bend
00:01:09.920 down.
00:01:11.600 >> Hi camera.
00:01:14.080 >> And say hi to yourself. When you’re
00:01:15.439 watching it, say hi Isaac. You’re
00:01:17.680 watching me on TV.
00:01:20.159 >> You’re gonna watch yourself.
00:01:23.119 >> Uhhuh.
00:01:23.520 >> Yeah, you are.
00:01:24.479 >> Say hi everybody. I’m their number one
00:01:26.479 fan.
00:01:30.240 Yes, you are, Isaac. And we love you
00:01:32.640 that you are. And so, thank you for
00:01:34.320 visiting us.
00:01:34.960 >> Thanks so much for being here, Isaac.
00:01:39.680 >> Isaac, we’ll see you in a little bit.
00:01:42.320 Yeah, it’s kind of crazy. I, you know, I
00:01:46.479 hate to say it because there’s so much
00:01:48.000 controversy about controversy
00:01:50.479 controversy about it, but Candace Owens
00:01:53.600 is kind of becoming my spirit animal.
00:01:56.560 I mean, that sounds kind of weird, but I
00:01:59.200 mean, it’s like whether she’s right or
00:02:01.360 wrong and a lot of the things that you
00:02:03.360 she’s talking about,
00:02:05.200 >> I
00:02:06.719 don’t mind and I actually appreciate
00:02:10.479 talking and communicating, right?
00:02:12.640 >> And I love the fact that she’s like,
00:02:15.200 "Hey, I’m going to throw this out there.
00:02:16.959 Show me I’m wrong."
00:02:18.319 >> Right?
00:02:18.640 >> And and whether or not you believe what
00:02:20.000 she’s saying or whether or not you agree
00:02:21.360 with her, I love that form of
00:02:23.280 communication. I mean, we as husband and
00:02:25.360 wife have had communication like that
00:02:26.959 before. And you know, it’s one of those
00:02:28.959 things where I’m like, "You said," and
00:02:30.400 you’re like, "No, I didn’t." And I’m
00:02:31.440 like, "Let me pull up the camera." And
00:02:32.640 you’re like, "Never mind.
00:02:36.000 >> Never happened." Never happened.
00:02:39.440 >> But I love I’m all about, you know,
00:02:41.920 obviously they’re talking about all this
00:02:44.319 AI that’s coming out.
00:02:46.080 >> Yeah. What is it? The Sora.
00:02:48.160 >> Sora or something like that. The AI
00:02:50.800 video. It looks like some of it, you
00:02:52.800 know, it looks ridiculous. That’s not
00:02:54.879 >> It’s really, really scary. We’re getting
00:02:56.400 to a time where you’re not going to be
00:02:58.400 able to believe anything that you see
00:03:01.120 anymore without suspecting whether it’s
00:03:03.599 AI or not.
00:03:04.560 >> But saying that, there are still legal
00:03:08.959 consequences, this being cross-examined,
00:03:12.239 for you blatantly lying about something.
00:03:16.239 >> Sure. So
00:03:18.560 with Candace coming out there and
00:03:20.239 saying, "I got receipts, she if she was
00:03:23.840 falsifying those things, she could be
00:03:26.720 held accountable legally." Correct.
00:03:28.879 >> Yeah, without a doubt. And and we’ve
00:03:30.640 said this again and again when when
00:03:32.480 people get on camera somewhere or out in
00:03:35.200 the public eye and they make bold
00:03:36.480 statements, it’s always important to
00:03:39.680 watch whether a lawsuit results because
00:03:43.280 you can be held responsible for
00:03:44.959 defamation, liel, slander, uh all of
00:03:47.599 those types of liabilities.
00:03:50.319 But just remember this, truth is always
00:03:54.480 a defense. And so if somebody makes bold
00:03:57.439 comments like that and you think to
00:03:59.280 yourself, "Oh no, they’re going to get
00:04:01.920 sued and then they don’t get sued, you
00:04:05.280 got to wonder why."
00:04:06.799 >> Well, also in that context, could they
00:04:09.680 be saying this was, you know, they couch
00:04:11.760 it and this is just my opinion.
00:04:14.319 >> Yes.
00:04:14.720 >> But when she’s coming out and saying
00:04:16.959 this is a fact. I found out like last
00:04:20.320 night I was watching her podcast and she
00:04:22.240 said that she did find out that the
00:04:24.240 bullet there’s all this controversy on
00:04:26.560 whether Charlie got shot in the front of
00:04:29.040 the neck on the back where was the
00:04:30.800 entrance there should have been an exit
00:04:33.520 and she said from reliable sources that
00:04:38.320 she 100%
00:04:40.960 says it’s a fact that there was a
00:04:43.120 fragment of the bullet left back by his
00:04:45.600 spine
00:04:46.800 >> by his shoulder but there’s No way it
00:04:49.280 could have been that bullet that they
00:04:52.000 claim it it was. It was it it would have
00:04:55.040 blown up 15 necks at that size of a
00:04:58.320 bullet.
00:04:59.600 >> So, how do you feel about that? How do
00:05:02.160 how does that make us feel where there’s
00:05:06.160 controversy with this? You don’t want to
00:05:08.960 call out people because you’re like,
00:05:10.479 "What if I make people mad because
00:05:12.400 you’re talking against the church and
00:05:14.720 this great thing that Turning Point is
00:05:16.720 doing?" And she even says there’s so
00:05:18.080 many great people that work at Turning
00:05:19.600 Point.
00:05:22.400 How do you
00:05:25.120 rectify all of that in your mind?
00:05:27.440 >> Well, I don’t know. I mean, first and
00:05:28.639 foremost, it’s frustrating because we
00:05:31.680 are so accustomed in this day and age of
00:05:35.360 knowing that we’re not always getting
00:05:37.919 the truth. We are now accustomed to
00:05:42.639 having to suspect whether the media, the
00:05:46.720 government, governmental agencies,
00:05:48.320 whoever is giving us
00:05:50.080 >> religiously. You found out this this
00:05:52.720 morning something about Hanukkah that
00:05:55.680 you were like, "What?"
00:05:57.199 >> Yeah.
00:05:57.600 >> What are these what are these lies?
00:05:59.680 Well, I keep kind of continuing my my
00:06:02.240 deep dive and and research on on some of
00:06:05.120 the things with the the Jewish faith
00:06:06.880 that uh I I feel like
00:06:10.800 has been spun. I guess is a
00:06:13.600 >> oh a polite a polite way of saying it
00:06:16.319 being afraid, right?
00:06:17.840 >> Be very afraid. Isn’t there a song like
00:06:20.479 that?
00:06:20.880 >> All right. Yeah. So, here’s the thing.
00:06:23.440 What is
00:06:25.600 the reason
00:06:27.600 that’s widely told as for the the
00:06:30.960 celebration of Hanukkah?
00:06:32.160 >> Ask the audience.
00:06:33.759 >> What’s the reason for Hanukkah? What are
00:06:36.240 we told? What what do we all know the
00:06:38.720 reason for Hanukkah is?
00:06:41.120 >> Because there was this miracle oil that
00:06:44.160 lasted for 8 days.
00:06:45.759 >> Correct.
00:06:46.160 >> And was it literal?
00:06:48.240 Is that what you’re told?
00:06:49.360 >> That’s what you’re told. That’s
00:06:50.639 literally what it was. It was the Mcabes
00:06:53.919 who were defending the temple in in
00:06:56.240 Jerusalem and it the temple was laid
00:07:00.160 waste. It was under siege and they only
00:07:02.800 had enough oil for one day and it’s the
00:07:06.319 eternal light that’s supposed to stay on
00:07:08.000 forever. And so with only enough oil for
00:07:10.960 one day, it wasn’t going to last and the
00:07:13.120 eternal light was going to go out. And
00:07:15.120 they lo and behold were used that one
00:07:17.840 day’s worth of oil and it lasted 8 days
00:07:20.240 until the runner could get back with
00:07:21.919 more oil and it was a miracle. And it’s
00:07:24.240 a very minor it’s it’s admittedly a very
00:07:26.639 minor holiday in the Jewish religion and
00:07:28.960 it’s gotten more major to kind of align
00:07:31.520 with and match up with the Christmas
00:07:33.759 season. But come to find out
00:07:37.919 that’s not even the story.
00:07:40.479 >> Do you want to enlighten everyone, Ken,
00:07:42.880 or those that don’t know?
00:07:44.319 >> The story is that there was the battle.
00:07:48.800 There was the siege of the temple and
00:07:50.800 the Mcabes did successfully retake the
00:07:54.720 temple. and they rededicated the temple
00:07:57.680 that had been demolished in certain
00:08:00.160 places and been broken down and they
00:08:01.680 were rebuilding and and rededicating the
00:08:03.919 temple. And so the celebration was
00:08:08.639 national pride retaking the temple.
00:08:11.280 Let’s make the celebration last 8 days.
00:08:13.919 And that was it. And it was only in 500
00:08:17.280 AD,
00:08:19.440 500 years after Jesus that rabbis
00:08:24.080 decided
00:08:26.000 that they wanted to make it about a
00:08:28.160 miraculous thing. So it was just a
00:08:30.240 decision that was made. So they’re
00:08:32.320 celebrating the festival of lights with
00:08:35.200 the magical oil and it’s just completely
00:08:37.440 a madeup story.
00:08:38.640 >> So something that you said this morning
00:08:40.958 that you’re like, how hypocritical.
00:08:43.679 >> Yeah. Jews make fun of Christians for
00:08:47.600 saying there’s a Santa.
00:08:49.519 >> No, totally. And look, I I speak from
00:08:51.920 experience here. I was raised Jewish. I
00:08:53.760 have the right to speak about these
00:08:55.120 things
00:08:55.519 >> because you just became Christian like
00:08:56.959 10 years ago.
00:08:57.600 >> Yeah. But I’m telling you, when you’re
00:08:59.279 you’re raised Jewish, when you are a
00:09:01.920 Jewish person, you are very critical and
00:09:06.720 kind of snide. And you know, there’s
00:09:09.120 this whole air of snobbery about, you
00:09:12.480 know, those silly Christians make up
00:09:14.880 this story of Santa for their kids.
00:09:17.279 They’re just completely making up a lie.
00:09:20.320 Well, guess what? Hanukkah is completely
00:09:22.240 a lie. But yet, it’s not something where
00:09:24.720 there’s a demarcation in a child’s life
00:09:27.200 where they decide Santa’s no longer
00:09:29.040 real.
00:09:29.519 >> But you’re not saying Santa’s not real.
00:09:31.680 >> No, of course not. But there’s there’s a
00:09:33.760 time
00:09:34.080 >> people that say that.
00:09:35.200 >> Yeah. that there’s a time where that
00:09:36.640 comes up in conversation. In the Jewish
00:09:39.200 faith, nobody questions it. There’s
00:09:42.320 never a time where anybody says, "Is
00:09:44.080 that even real?" It’s just a given that
00:09:47.040 the eight days are miraculous and that’s
00:09:49.360 what the celebration is.
00:09:52.880 >> Ken, it’s interesting
00:09:56.080 taking this ride along with you because
00:09:57.839 these are things that I never knew
00:09:59.600 either. Like I wasn’t raised Jewish. I
00:10:01.600 was raised Catholic. And as these things
00:10:05.920 are
00:10:08.160 found out unwoven, and we’re able to see
00:10:12.000 all of this, it almost seems as if
00:10:16.399 Christ is sacrificed.
00:10:19.600 And there’s many Jews that found him to
00:10:23.040 be their savior. And there was some
00:10:25.440 scrambling going on
00:10:27.920 with Jews going, we need something
00:10:30.640 similar. And I may be speaking
00:10:33.680 completely off basis here and you can
00:10:36.800 tell me if I am, but it’s almost seeming
00:10:39.760 like, oh my gosh, we have to create a
00:10:42.480 Star of David for them to hold on to
00:10:44.240 because they have a cross. We have to
00:10:47.519 have a day of atonement by not having to
00:10:50.560 sacrifice anything because the temple is
00:10:53.200 down now. So, we we don’t want to have
00:10:54.720 to, you know, sacrifice anything. These
00:10:56.959 are the things that you enlighten me on.
00:10:59.200 And I may be speaking off and not
00:11:01.839 correctly about these, but can you
00:11:03.839 elaborate more on that? Like you’re
00:11:05.600 feeling like there’s a lot of shifting
00:11:07.839 going on like with the books of the
00:11:10.480 Apocrypha and Mcabes and them taking
00:11:14.079 them out because it it pointed to Jesus
00:11:16.959 and they couldn’t have that have him
00:11:19.600 being the Messiah.
00:11:21.120 >> Yeah. So totally and and you know that
00:11:24.720 what I touched on with Hanukkah is just
00:11:26.959 kind of the surface level of it. There’s
00:11:29.440 a lot more and that’s what you were
00:11:30.880 alluding to and we were talking about
00:11:32.240 this earlier that the story of the
00:11:34.399 Mcabes comes from the book uh you know
00:11:38.399 like books of of the Bible but the books
00:11:40.880 of Mcabes and it’s not included in the
00:11:43.680 Bible
00:11:44.160 >> but it was originally
00:11:45.519 >> it was originally but the Jewish rabbis
00:11:49.440 decided not to include it in the Tanakh
00:11:52.240 in the Jewish Bible and come to find out
00:11:55.440 that there’s that whole set of books the
00:11:57.839 Apocrypha that are not included. The
00:12:00.399 reason they weren’t included is because
00:12:02.240 they had messianic prophecies that
00:12:06.000 pointed towards Jesus and those they
00:12:09.519 didn’t want the messianic prophecies out
00:12:12.959 there. They didn’t want anything
00:12:14.560 pointing to Jesus. And so what I’ve come
00:12:16.800 to realize and we can get into all these
00:12:18.399 other things that you were talking about
00:12:19.440 the Star of David and and Yom Kapoor and
00:12:22.000 all that because we’ve looked into all
00:12:23.600 of these things too and there’s just
00:12:25.279 some startling reality with a lot of it
00:12:27.519 that you just don’t know. It’s not in
00:12:30.399 mainstream but it’s out there and
00:12:32.079 anybody can look it up. But what I’ve
00:12:34.160 come to realize is the number one reason
00:12:39.040 for the difference between
00:12:42.079 Jews and Christians is always named as
00:12:45.519 what?
00:12:46.079 >> Christ,
00:12:46.880 >> right?
00:12:47.360 >> Having a Messiah.
00:12:48.480 >> Christians believe that the Messiah
00:12:50.320 came. Jews believe that the Messiah has
00:12:53.200 yet to come. After you start diving into
00:12:55.760 all this and you look at it more and
00:12:58.000 more and you reflect back on the way
00:13:02.000 that I was raised, the way that that
00:13:04.320 Jews in general believe and act, it
00:13:07.760 turns out Judaism is no longer about the
00:13:12.240 Messiah. It’s not about waiting for the
00:13:14.800 Messiah. The Messiah is essentially a
00:13:17.760 non-issue. It is a delineator between
00:13:21.279 what Christians are, but Jews are more
00:13:25.279 interested in perpetuating Judaism than
00:13:29.120 they are in in seeking a messiah.
00:13:31.519 >> And why do you suppose that is control?
00:13:34.160 Like I you there has to be something
00:13:36.240 that’s
00:13:38.079 this is a spiritual battle. I believe
00:13:39.920 this this earth and we’re living a
00:13:43.360 spiritual battle, right?
00:13:45.120 >> Totally. So to me, it’s good versus
00:13:48.959 evil. And and and I’m not we’re not
00:13:50.639 sitting here saying everybody that’s
00:13:51.839 Jewish is evil.
00:13:52.880 >> No,
00:13:53.760 >> what we are saying is there’s a concern
00:13:57.279 that when you go to the top of anything,
00:13:59.680 you know, here Candace Owens is talking
00:14:02.320 about
00:14:04.000 certain leaders at Turning Point USA
00:14:06.560 allowing them not to get all the details
00:14:09.199 about Charlie’s death. you speaking
00:14:11.519 about these rabbis that are twisting
00:14:14.399 what was then taught to be facts about
00:14:17.440 the oil. Where do you think that’s
00:14:20.399 stemming from? Because the author of
00:14:22.800 confusion
00:14:24.399 is Satan himself and it leads to a lot
00:14:28.000 of confusion when Jesus came to speak
00:14:32.800 truth simply.
00:14:34.720 >> Well, and I think we choose pride as
00:14:36.320 well. I think that’s that’s really and
00:14:37.760 if you go all the way back to the time
00:14:39.199 of Jesus with the the the Pharisees, the
00:14:41.760 the ruling priest class
00:14:44.560 >> which are no more,
00:14:45.839 >> right?
00:14:46.160 >> It’s only rabbis who were teachers,
00:14:48.399 >> right? It’s a lot of pride, keeping
00:14:52.160 control and pride of who they are and
00:14:55.199 and not wanting to relinquish that to
00:14:57.920 anybody, not wanting to have humility
00:15:01.199 and admit that they could be wrong. And
00:15:02.959 and that flows all the way through to
00:15:04.480 today. I’ve been dealing with that. I’ve
00:15:05.920 been reading a book on it lately and and
00:15:08.560 that’s a huge issue for for everyone.
00:15:11.920 >> And if you look at the symbolism of
00:15:13.600 let’s say the triangle, right? You have
00:15:15.600 somebody who’s the leader at the top and
00:15:17.040 everyone’s below them,
00:15:18.240 >> right?
00:15:18.959 >> You know, in Christianity, it’s flipped
00:15:22.000 upside down. The least of these are at
00:15:24.639 the top. And that’s the difference
00:15:26.720 between Judaism and Christianity,
00:15:29.760 >> right? So, I think it does go back to
00:15:31.199 what you said about control. the the
00:15:34.399 people that that are in control at the
00:15:36.639 top of that pyramid always want to
00:15:38.560 maintain that control. And when when
00:15:40.959 Jesus flipped the script and and he died
00:15:44.320 for our sins, he died for the many. And
00:15:47.519 then that’s something that completely
00:15:50.240 upset them and went against everything
00:15:52.560 that they stood for,
00:15:54.079 >> right? Because
00:15:56.320 he didn’t need all of this money. He
00:15:58.639 didn’t need all the vanity or anything
00:16:02.399 like that for people to follow him. That
00:16:05.440 probably was shocking to them,
00:16:06.959 >> right?
00:16:07.360 >> It probably was like, "How dare they
00:16:10.480 love this poor man that shows that you
00:16:15.440 can get to God with nothing versus all
00:16:19.040 of these riches and these things that we
00:16:21.440 have that you must do all of these
00:16:24.880 things." and it probably was culture
00:16:28.639 shock to them and they weren’t wanting
00:16:30.160 to let it go.
00:16:31.120 >> Well, and I think that also plays into
00:16:33.279 what else we’ve been looking into and
00:16:34.800 and you know, you mentioned the the Star
00:16:36.880 of David and the other things
00:16:39.839 since the time of Jesus.
00:16:42.560 I think that it was so clear and so
00:16:45.199 obvious that he was the Messiah that
00:16:47.680 there’s been a concerted effort for
00:16:49.839 literally centuries to downplay him as
00:16:54.480 the Messiah.
00:16:56.320 So that
00:16:58.160 again
00:17:00.160 Judaism’s focus is about maintaining
00:17:03.600 Judaism. But people would say to you,
00:17:06.480 and this is the thing, people would say,
00:17:08.720 "Well, it’s now it’s because of the
00:17:11.679 Holocaust." This has been going on for
00:17:14.880 centuries
00:17:15.919 >> completely.
00:17:16.880 >> And they’d say, "Well, because Jews
00:17:18.959 always felt like they were dispersed."
00:17:20.799 And we were reading something where back
00:17:23.760 in the medieval times, there were
00:17:27.359 pamphlets that were going out speaking
00:17:30.559 against what the Jewish leaders were
00:17:32.720 doing during that time, right?
00:17:34.240 >> And the Jewish leaders called that back
00:17:36.559 in the Middle Ages, medieval times,
00:17:39.440 propaganda against the Jews, right?
00:17:41.520 >> And I had said to you, now mind you,
00:17:44.080 when we talk about the Jews, there are
00:17:46.480 truly beautiful people out there. We’re
00:17:48.880 not talking about people that come out
00:17:52.559 against
00:17:54.160 there’s there’s people now that you can
00:17:56.160 find that speak out against what is
00:17:59.600 being told to the general
00:18:02.880 uh assembly of Jews. Is that the correct
00:18:05.120 term? Assembly of Jews.
00:18:06.320 >> A population.
00:18:07.440 >> Population of Jews.
00:18:08.799 >> There are other Jews out there that are
00:18:10.559 saying we don’t deserve that land right
00:18:13.840 now. And I’m I’m I haven’t researched
00:18:15.840 it, so this is just what I’m hearing.
00:18:18.320 It’s interesting the confusion though
00:18:20.000 that’s going on within
00:18:22.880 within the world, but it’s so big with
00:18:28.480 Judaism and Christianity. And if you
00:18:30.960 look back at all the history, we’re
00:18:33.280 finding out that nothing is really
00:18:37.200 changed or left behind with Christians.
00:18:40.080 But it feels as if the Jewish religion
00:18:43.840 and culture are kind of moving parts to
00:18:47.600 make it feel more comfortable for those
00:18:50.799 that are like, "Hey, I think that this
00:18:52.400 Christianity thing sounds better." Maybe
00:18:54.720 that he does seem like this is real. And
00:18:58.080 they’re like, "Hold on, hold on. We can
00:18:59.520 we can move these things around. We can
00:19:01.520 have some magic in in Judaism as well."
00:19:04.799 >> Well, and that’s what we were finding
00:19:06.480 out about the Star of David. Again,
00:19:09.360 there’s not much teaching about the
00:19:12.960 history of the Star of David as a a
00:19:15.120 Jewish person. It’s just that’s the Star
00:19:17.360 of David. Well, it comes from, you know,
00:19:19.360 David whose heart was after God. He’s
00:19:22.160 the, you know, the king of of uh Israel
00:19:24.720 and and you know, the whole history is
00:19:26.640 based on on David. But where did the
00:19:28.799 Star of David come in? And it didn’t
00:19:30.160 come in until the Middle Ages in
00:19:33.440 response to Christians utilizing the
00:19:37.360 symbol of the cross for the resurrection
00:19:39.760 of Jesus. And the Jewish leaders at the
00:19:43.919 time decided they needed a symbol as
00:19:46.160 well. So they just decided on the Star
00:19:50.320 of David, which has its origins in pagan
00:19:53.440 rituals.
00:19:54.480 >> And we’re not sitting here hating on
00:19:57.679 Jews. We’re not sitting here hating.
00:20:00.080 >> No, I am Jewish.
00:20:01.280 >> Exactly. But what we’re trying to show
00:20:03.679 you is how much the rabbis have tried to
00:20:09.280 subdue the fire for the Lord, fire for
00:20:13.200 Christ within the Jewish culture.
00:20:16.240 >> Yeah. And you said something that I I
00:20:18.000 really appreciated as well earlier
00:20:20.000 today.
00:20:21.600 What does that mean that there’s such
00:20:24.640 this
00:20:26.160 fight through the ages, this big push to
00:20:30.000 try and downplay Jesus as the Messiah?
00:20:32.799 And it’s like the more obvious
00:20:36.799 that he’s the Messiah, the bigger the
00:20:38.880 push is to downplay it, it only points
00:20:41.919 more to him being the Messiah.
00:20:44.240 >> It’s just crazy. It’s just crazy, Ken.
00:20:46.799 Like, even talking about this, I get
00:20:48.480 knots in my stomach.
00:20:49.600 >> Sure. Like people are going to think
00:20:50.960 that we’re talking against the Jews. And
00:20:53.280 I know you’re Jewish, but it’s almost
00:20:55.200 like
00:20:57.039 someone’s seeing a family secret and
00:20:59.120 you’re not allowed to talk about it.
00:21:00.720 >> Why would it be such a taboo topic to
00:21:04.240 scrutinize or criticize anyone, any
00:21:08.480 group, anything? You know, I I always
00:21:11.520 relate it to, and I can’t remember if
00:21:12.799 I’ve said this before, but I always
00:21:14.000 relate it to immunity in the law. Okay?
00:21:18.000 You take for example pharmaceutical
00:21:20.320 companies who have immunity for vaccines
00:21:25.360 and it’s because they don’t want to be
00:21:27.120 sued and they say the reason is because
00:21:29.520 that allows them to more freely develop
00:21:32.720 vaccines. Well, if you’re developing
00:21:35.360 vaccines and you’re doing it responsibly
00:21:38.080 and you’re testing it out and vetting it
00:21:40.080 fully and and you know that it’s not
00:21:42.960 going to cause harm, then you don’t need
00:21:45.679 immunity. But if you’re not doing that
00:21:48.480 and you’re not careful with it and you
00:21:50.480 know that harm can happen, then yeah,
00:21:53.280 you’re going to want immunity, but you
00:21:54.720 also know that you’re doing something
00:21:56.159 wrong. So I always have some doubt in
00:22:00.559 any organization, any people, any sect,
00:22:04.880 whatever, that has some kind of
00:22:07.200 immunity. Why do you need the immunity?
00:22:09.360 Why can’t you be open to scrutiny? And
00:22:12.320 it seems like with this day and age, and
00:22:15.280 again I you mentioned how you feel
00:22:17.280 talking about this. I do as well. I get
00:22:19.840 knots in my stomach talking about this
00:22:21.600 and criticizing Jewish teachings that
00:22:24.000 that I’ve had because you feel like
00:22:26.320 you’re speaking out against and you’re
00:22:29.120 going to be labeled as an anti-semite
00:22:31.039 just like Candace Owens. Well, what
00:22:32.240 Candace Owens did say, which really rang
00:22:35.120 true to me, is she said she’s digging
00:22:37.760 into this about Charlie, and there’s
00:22:39.840 people from Turning Point that has
00:22:41.360 messaged her that have said, "Hey,
00:22:45.440 you’re going to make Turning Point look
00:22:47.200 bad." And she said, "If by digging and
00:22:50.720 finding truth in something that makes
00:22:54.960 someone look bad,
00:22:57.360 that’s their fault." Right? It’s like if
00:22:59.440 someone were to look into she
00:23:01.760 referenced, you know, how Candace treats
00:23:04.320 her staff. Don’t look into that because
00:23:06.799 then you’re going to think bad of
00:23:07.919 Candace,
00:23:08.720 >> right?
00:23:09.039 >> It’s like with anything. Why aren’t you
00:23:12.000 allowed to dig? Well, it’s disrespectful
00:23:13.440 to dig. Well, wouldn’t you want them
00:23:16.000 digging if it just proves how righteous
00:23:18.320 and loving and kind you are? Like, that
00:23:22.080 does that’s that’s gaslighting at its
00:23:24.320 finest.
00:23:24.960 >> Totally.
00:23:25.600 >> Don’t look in Don’t look in this door.
00:23:27.520 Why? cuz you can trust me. There’s
00:23:29.120 nothing you’d want to see in there.
00:23:30.400 Well, then let me see. No, that you’re
00:23:32.799 being abusive by wanting to see inside
00:23:34.480 that the closet, right? No. No, I’m not.
00:23:36.799 I just want to see cuz you’re telling me
00:23:38.640 x, y, and z, I don’t believe it. Well,
00:23:41.919 by you not believing it, you’re
00:23:43.520 anti-semitic. You’re anti-loving. You’re
00:23:46.400 anti-Christian. You’re not looking into
00:23:47.919 that door.
00:23:48.799 >> Totally. And and you mentioned families,
00:23:51.520 you know, think about somebody who’s
00:23:53.600 like a, you know, an abuser, a wife
00:23:56.480 abuser.
00:23:57.760 Is that person the bad actor? You better
00:24:00.159 believe they are. But they’re making
00:24:03.760 other people hide it. The family hide
00:24:05.679 the fact. And so the person who actually
00:24:08.000 calls it out, they’re the bad actor.
00:24:11.760 >> I’ve been the potter. They call me the
00:24:13.360 potter because I’m I miss facts. Like,
00:24:15.840 hey, let’s just look at things. Let’s
00:24:17.600 look at things logically. Let’s talk
00:24:19.520 about it. And that makes people
00:24:22.000 uncomfortable.
00:24:23.279 >> They don’t want to talk about it. It
00:24:24.720 totally does. You’re a pot stirer.
00:24:26.400 you’re causing trouble. Let’s just all
00:24:29.039 move along.
00:24:30.240 >> And the way
00:24:32.320 that you call things out,
00:24:36.400 the way that things get scrutinized is
00:24:38.559 with discussion, bringing things to
00:24:41.279 light, open trading of ideas. And that’s
00:24:45.200 exactly what Charlie Kirk got killed
00:24:46.960 for. But you allow open communication,
00:24:51.360 you allow scrutiny, you allow criticism.
00:24:54.320 Criticism may be harmful, but it’s also
00:24:58.320 constructive.
00:24:59.200 >> But is it really harmful all the time?
00:25:01.200 >> If you’re doing something wrong, then
00:25:02.640 it’s right to criticize.
00:25:03.919 >> Well, it’s interesting because we’ve
00:25:05.679 been together almost 18 years and even
00:25:09.039 the talk of Jesus when we first met made
00:25:12.720 you just flip out.
00:25:15.200 >> Totally.
00:25:15.919 >> And then you eventually your heart heart
00:25:19.039 got softened for the idea. And it was
00:25:21.600 only recently
00:25:23.679 when you were able to look up certain
00:25:25.200 facts. It’s like this peeling of the
00:25:27.679 onion where somebody even mentions
00:25:31.840 any of this you’re talking about today.
00:25:34.400 You a wall instantly would go up and
00:25:36.480 it’s like absolutely not. I am not
00:25:38.960 opening my mind to any of this nonsense.
00:25:42.080 Because you said growing up your dad
00:25:45.039 would say those Messianic Jews are crazy
00:25:47.600 people.
00:25:48.559 >> They were a cult. They were a cult.
00:25:50.559 >> Stay away from them. They’re a cult.
00:25:52.960 Interesting.
00:25:57.840 >> Yeah. And um now we got all this AI
00:26:01.120 coming up. What are they going to start
00:26:02.799 creating to mess with us next? Some of
00:26:05.919 that AI looks really, really real.
00:26:09.039 >> Yeah, it’s scary. It’s scary. Like I
00:26:11.760 said, you’re you’re going to get to a
00:26:13.679 point where you have to doubt literally
00:26:15.840 everything that you see online as being
00:26:17.440 real or AI.
00:26:19.440 You know, the bigger the lie gets,
00:26:22.640 the more you’re going to have to as
00:26:25.600 Christians
00:26:27.120 really be in prayer and really be
00:26:31.360 listening to what God tells us. We’re no
00:26:34.640 longer going to be able to get guided by
00:26:36.080 the world.
00:26:37.520 >> Exactly. And you and Aaron were having a
00:26:39.360 discussion earlier today, too, that I I
00:26:41.520 thought was phenomenal that I wanted to
00:26:43.039 to touch on. And that was, you know,
00:26:46.159 looking at certain leaders. Are they are
00:26:48.320 they bad or are they good? Are they in
00:26:50.159 the side of light or are they a side of
00:26:51.679 dark? And and really the conclusion that
00:26:54.480 the two of you got to
00:26:57.440 which you know you were you were talking
00:26:59.840 about and really pushing is
00:27:02.559 everybody has some flicker of light in
00:27:05.919 them and we as Christians should be
00:27:08.320 praying for them.
00:27:09.919 >> Bottom line is he needs our prayers.
00:27:12.080 >> Right. Bottom line,
00:27:14.880 you can’t say that you’ve never seen
00:27:16.960 Trump do something good. And you can sit
00:27:19.120 there and say, "Well, it was good
00:27:20.480 because it was him getting attention for
00:27:22.799 something." Or
00:27:24.799 I’m sorry, Christians out there,
00:27:28.400 if you feel like, cuz there’s a lot of
00:27:31.200 people going, you know, we see him doing
00:27:33.840 letting, you know, Israel do X, Y, and
00:27:36.000 Z. He’s selling out. He’s doing that. He
00:27:38.480 needs our prayers. He needs our prayers.
00:27:41.200 And
00:27:43.360 I don’t care who you are. If if you are
00:27:47.440 connected to the Holy Spirit at all, you
00:27:51.520 can see Trump has a light in him.
00:27:53.520 >> I agree.
00:27:54.159 >> Whether you believe it’s a big light or
00:27:56.320 it’s a flickering light, we need to be
00:27:59.279 praying for that light to be bigger and
00:28:01.279 for him to have support.
00:28:03.039 >> Well, and think think about this too
00:28:04.559 that everybody is redeemable even to the
00:28:07.679 very last minute. So as long as there is
00:28:09.600 some flicker of light, even the the
00:28:12.480 thief on the cross next to Jesus was
00:28:14.720 redeemable.
00:28:15.600 >> In my mind, you know, my dad, he was
00:28:21.840 chief of police of Cook County Sheriff’s
00:28:24.159 in Chicago. My dad was a police officer
00:28:26.159 and chief of police of many cities. And
00:28:29.600 my dad had challenges against people
00:28:32.640 that were not good. Okay. There were
00:28:35.279 there were
00:28:35.679 >> within the system
00:28:36.480 >> within the system there were lies. I
00:28:39.200 mean I saw firsthand things. The news
00:28:42.320 was printing that my dad was like no
00:28:45.360 that’s not happening. This is what’s
00:28:47.039 happening. I mean our phones had taps on
00:28:49.279 them when my dad left the county from
00:28:51.360 the county. My dad had a remote start on
00:28:55.200 his car
00:28:57.039 because he didn’t want to get blown up.
00:28:58.960 And I’m like dad how would the bad guys
00:29:00.640 get to your car? and he’s like, "Oh, no.
00:29:02.240 The bad guys would be in the county.
00:29:04.399 That would blow me up." So, I firsthand
00:29:07.520 got to see what Trump talks about. Now,
00:29:12.880 saying that, I do see a lot of
00:29:15.679 mannerisms. I see a lot of things of my
00:29:17.840 dad in Trump. His
00:29:21.200 posture, the way he smiles, the way he
00:29:23.919 handles himself around people. And
00:29:25.760 there’s something that my dad had.
00:29:28.640 there’s just this light of this that you
00:29:31.039 can’t you can’t fake.
00:29:32.559 >> Well, and you’ve mentioned too, it’s
00:29:34.320 like not not always what you see with
00:29:38.000 him, you know, giving a speech or, you
00:29:40.640 know, the real publicized things. It’s
00:29:43.200 when they catch him off to the side and
00:29:45.760 he’s pointing over to somebody and
00:29:47.200 saying hi or putting his arm around
00:29:49.200 somebody.
00:29:49.919 >> There is this genuiness
00:29:52.480 about Trump that you can’t ever tell me
00:29:54.960 doesn’t exist.
00:29:55.919 >> There’s a light flickering in there.
00:29:57.760 Absolutely.
00:29:59.120 >> And that’s worthy of our prayers.
00:30:00.799 >> Love hopes all things. Love endures all
00:30:03.120 things and believes all things. And as
00:30:05.120 Christians, even if you believe you see
00:30:07.679 a evil side in Trump, it is our job to
00:30:10.960 pray for him.
00:30:12.000 >> Pray for the good. Prayed for the
00:30:13.600 country. Pray for him to do what’s
00:30:16.000 right.
00:30:16.720 >> Absolutely. And that’s what
00:30:20.880 I was talking today about. And I helped
00:30:25.919 open the eyes of a dear friend of mine
00:30:28.000 to say, "Yeah, you know what? I can see
00:30:29.760 that." Because you know what we were
00:30:32.320 also talking about is it’s fabulous that
00:30:35.120 you can have people that have God as
00:30:38.720 their goal. You know, like they’re
00:30:40.640 thinking, "I want God’s will to be
00:30:43.120 done." And that’s what’s great when you
00:30:46.000 have relationships like that. Iron
00:30:47.840 sharpens iron. We can come together at
00:30:50.720 first and not agree about something, but
00:30:52.399 then when you talk about it and if both
00:30:54.080 people are open to listening for the
00:30:56.240 greater good of God, then you can get
00:30:58.640 somewhere. That’s where we’re lacking in
00:31:01.120 this world. We’re we’re more concerned
00:31:03.360 about our pride and being right versus
00:31:06.880 being right about God and what his will
00:31:09.279 is and helping support that. Doesn’t the
00:31:12.399 Old Testament in Jeremiah say that if
00:31:15.440 the nations will repent that God will
00:31:17.919 spare the nations? Doesn’t that seem
00:31:19.520 like what we should be doing as
00:31:21.360 Christians is praying for the nation and
00:31:23.279 praying for the nations to repent rather
00:31:26.320 than praying for harm to come to any
00:31:29.760 people or peoples. We should be
00:31:32.399 repenting. We should be praying for
00:31:34.159 everyone
00:31:35.279 >> to repent.
00:31:36.080 >> Amen. And like I was saying today, if
00:31:39.039 you feel like there’s an agenda being
00:31:41.120 pushed currently with the Trump
00:31:43.039 administration because you feel like,
00:31:44.720 oh, you know, you hear all these people,
00:31:46.320 he sold out or whatever, you should be
00:31:48.960 praying for God’s will to be done,
00:31:51.679 >> right?
00:31:52.080 >> You should be praying for him for
00:31:54.480 protection and you should be praying for
00:31:57.679 God’s will to be done, not those of what
00:32:00.240 you think are manipulating him or
00:32:03.039 getting into his administration.
00:32:06.080 praying for him and praying for God’s
00:32:08.960 will to be done and good things.
00:32:11.919 >> It seems like that the people that get
00:32:14.399 caught up in the whole good versus evil,
00:32:17.679 light versus dark, they’re looking at
00:32:21.279 this whole duality of of God versus
00:32:25.200 Satan, good versus evil, right versus
00:32:28.399 wrong, when in fact there is no duality.
00:32:31.120 Our God is so much bigger and stronger
00:32:33.519 and more powerful than any of that evil
00:32:36.000 out there that we don’t have to worry
00:32:38.000 about it. We just need to pray and we
00:32:40.000 need to get our mind and hearts right
00:32:41.919 with God and overcome the evil in that
00:32:45.039 manner.
00:32:45.519 >> You’re right. God is much bigger. There
00:32:47.679 is an a definite battle going on here
00:32:50.000 between good and evil. But we need to
00:32:52.880 focus less on how strong the evil is and
00:32:55.919 how good and strong and our God is still
00:32:59.919 on the throne and we forget that a lot
00:33:02.240 of times,
00:33:02.799 >> right?
00:33:03.519 >> That’s what we have to focus on.
00:33:05.519 >> And it’s easy it’s easy to get sucked
00:33:07.679 into that with all of the polarizing
00:33:10.559 that’s going on in the media and in the
00:33:13.120 political world. It’s easy to fall
00:33:14.880 victim to that because that’s the
00:33:16.320 rhetoric out there. And the rhetoric is
00:33:18.320 to get the sides arguing against each
00:33:20.799 other and thinking, "No, we’re right and
00:33:23.039 you’re wrong. No, we’re right and you’re
00:33:24.480 wrong." When in fact, we all need to
00:33:26.559 focus on God.
00:33:27.200 >> But it gets slippery because here you
00:33:28.799 go. What did we just say a few minutes
00:33:30.640 ago? Nobody wants to talk about
00:33:31.840 anything.
00:33:32.399 >> Right.
00:33:32.880 >> Right. Because then that’s squabbbling.
00:33:35.440 But where is the truth in that? Are we
00:33:37.760 supposed to talk about the truth or are
00:33:39.519 we supposed to just say, "Hey, whatever
00:33:41.120 you say, I don’t want to rock the boat."
00:33:43.600 See, that’s where it gets confusing
00:33:45.760 because you say to yourself, "Well, I
00:33:47.200 don’t want to say anything because then
00:33:48.240 that’s going to rock the boat, right?"
00:33:50.720 >> No, totally.
00:33:51.840 >> So, there is a fine line between being
00:33:54.960 able to speak truth and facts versus
00:33:57.840 just squabbbling just to be right for
00:33:59.760 pride reasons. So, if we’re able to
00:34:02.559 actually present the truth to someone
00:34:05.039 that is open to listen to it and
00:34:07.440 actually have good conversation about
00:34:10.079 it, we can move forward. What they’re
00:34:12.639 doing is they’re throwing out facts that
00:34:14.719 just keep us spinning like a dog chasing
00:34:16.719 his tail and we’re not going anywhere.
00:34:19.280 But if we can actually unearth facts
00:34:22.159 that have been hidden for so long, we
00:34:24.639 can actually start moving in the right
00:34:26.239 direction and maybe that direction are
00:34:28.960 current leaders that aren’t going to be
00:34:30.480 in charge anymore.
00:34:31.679 >> You know, there’s a book it when I was
00:34:33.918 in law school, it was required reading
00:34:35.599 in law school. It’s called Getting the
00:34:37.119 Yes. And it’s all about how two sides,
00:34:41.280 two opposite sides can get to an
00:34:43.760 agreement on something. And you have to
00:34:46.320 take it from the perspective, both sides
00:34:48.960 have to take it from the perspective of
00:34:51.280 reaching a common goal. And if our
00:34:53.440 common goal is to get closer to God, to
00:34:57.280 bring people to the Lord, to bring
00:35:00.560 righteousness to everything that’s going
00:35:02.960 on in this world, then you can have that
00:35:06.079 open exchange of ideas with the mindset
00:35:08.640 of I think this moves us forward. Well,
00:35:11.040 I think this moves us forward. Okay.
00:35:12.880 Well, they both have pros and cons, but
00:35:15.520 at least we’re taking it from the
00:35:16.960 perspective of moving us forward,
00:35:18.880 getting to yes, getting to God together.
00:35:22.000 But people that don’t believe in Christ
00:35:23.599 are thinking that you’re manipulating
00:35:25.040 them. No, I’m just saying, and that’s
00:35:27.760 the hard part is, you know, one day I’m
00:35:30.880 going to give a story. You guys ready
00:35:32.480 for my story? One day I was walking Jack
00:35:36.880 in his stroller and I remember thinking,
00:35:40.880 I wonder what God is doing today in
00:35:43.680 heaven above us. And I thought, why did
00:35:47.440 I just have that thought? Who told me
00:35:49.920 that heaven was above us?
00:35:52.960 Is this just me regurgitating something
00:35:55.520 I was told or is this something that I
00:35:58.800 truly believe? And at that moment, I
00:36:00.960 decided I’m going to go down a journey.
00:36:03.359 And every time you go down a journey, I
00:36:05.760 feel like
00:36:07.599 you get nervous because you’re safe with
00:36:10.960 what you were told. You know, another
00:36:12.640 story, there’s a woman that’s cooking a
00:36:14.800 roast. She cuts off both ends and she’s
00:36:17.200 putting the pan in the oven and she asks
00:36:18.960 her mother, "Mom, why do we always cut
00:36:21.200 both of the ends off of this roast
00:36:23.520 before we put it in the oven? It ends up
00:36:25.440 drying out." And she laughed and she
00:36:26.880 said, "Well, it’s because your great-g
00:36:28.160 grandandmother didn’t have a pan big
00:36:29.920 enough for the roast." They just
00:36:32.240 continued to do it that same way. And I
00:36:34.880 think what we end up doing is we get
00:36:36.720 afraid to change because we’re
00:36:38.960 dishonoring a the people that taught us,
00:36:41.760 which means to us maybe we don’t love
00:36:43.760 them,
00:36:44.320 >> right? So if we’re not following what
00:36:46.079 they told us, we don’t love them. But
00:36:48.240 you know what I’ve always taught my kids
00:36:49.599 is if you can know better, do better,
00:36:52.800 you can be better than me. I am just a
00:36:55.520 stepping stone to your future. I don’t
00:36:58.000 ever want my kids to feel like they
00:37:00.160 can’t ever grow past my growth. Right?
00:37:02.800 If you look at it, people are here.
00:37:04.640 Technology and knowledge and everything
00:37:06.240 is always growing. God’s always showing
00:37:08.160 us more. We’re always able to learn
00:37:10.000 more. And if people are willing to get
00:37:12.240 out of their comfort zone and actually
00:37:14.320 say, you know what, I want to learn this
00:37:17.040 just to either a learn it’s wrong and
00:37:19.680 reinforce my belief that I currently
00:37:21.760 have or b open myself up to grow closer
00:37:25.680 to God. But see, that’s what people have
00:37:28.720 to be willing to do.
00:37:29.839 >> Self-reflection is hard.
00:37:31.359 >> They have to be willing or wanting
00:37:34.000 something different. And if they’re
00:37:35.280 comfortable in their life, if they have
00:37:36.800 the job they want, if they have the
00:37:38.160 money they want, if they have the things
00:37:39.599 they want, and it’s not too bad, they
00:37:42.560 figure, well, who cares? I’ll die. God
00:37:45.520 knows I meant well.
00:37:48.160 What can happen to me? I guess you’re
00:37:50.400 rolling the dice with that. I choose not
00:37:52.720 to roll the dice with that. I I want to
00:37:55.200 know that I’m going somewhere when I
00:37:57.520 leave this earth and have eternal life.
00:38:00.160 But that’s me. I challenge other people.
00:38:03.680 If if you think it’s absolute garbage,
00:38:07.119 great. Look into it. I’ve looked into
00:38:09.599 it. Did you look in everything? What
00:38:12.079 didn’t feel right to you? Look into what
00:38:14.480 Ken’s saying. You know, you I had said
00:38:17.200 to you, "So, are you going to call your
00:38:18.400 brothers and tell them that the oil was
00:38:19.920 uh not real?" And you’re like, "Oh,
00:38:22.240 they’re going to say, "Well, we figured
00:38:23.520 it was a fairy tale anyways, and we were
00:38:25.599 just believing it."
00:38:26.560 >> Yeah. It’s it’s easy for anybody to
00:38:28.880 discount anything like that and say,
00:38:30.400 "Well, it’s just it’s just stories
00:38:33.040 taught to kids."
00:38:34.240 >> How sad is that though,
00:38:35.520 >> right?
00:38:35.920 >> Then why believe it in the first place,
00:38:37.760 >> right?
00:38:38.320 >> That’s that’s sad to me. You know, do
00:38:40.400 you ever near hear that study where they
00:38:42.240 take rice and they speak love to the one
00:38:44.800 set and then they speak hate and then
00:38:47.040 the one grows mold?
00:38:48.960 >> Oh, I think you told me about that.
00:38:50.480 There’s so many studies that
00:38:53.119 if you speak life into things, you know,
00:38:55.040 and Jack had said something to me the
00:38:56.480 other day. He goes, "Mom, I really hope
00:38:58.480 when I speak the words of the Bible to
00:39:01.359 this particular person, they get
00:39:02.800 something out of it." And I said, "Jack,
00:39:04.160 every time you speak words from the
00:39:05.839 Bible to anyone, it is life. You are
00:39:08.640 speaking life into them." And going
00:39:12.160 along with that same concept is we know
00:39:15.280 there’s evil. We know there’s bad in the
00:39:17.040 world. We know how hard this life can
00:39:19.280 be. But just like that imagery of you
00:39:21.920 being on a train, you can look out the
00:39:23.680 left side or you can look out the right
00:39:25.200 side. You can focus on good or you can
00:39:27.839 focus on bad. You can speak good. You
00:39:29.680 can speak death. The tongue can kill
00:39:32.560 because you can speak death onto people
00:39:34.560 or it can speak life. Speak life. Speak
00:39:37.280 life. Isn’t that a song?
00:39:38.960 >> Toby Mac. But wrapping up today, I
00:39:43.839 encourage everyone,
00:39:46.240 no matter where you’re at with your
00:39:48.640 journey in life, whether it’s with
00:39:51.280 Christ, not yet with Christ, or whatever
00:39:54.160 your religion is, I recommend you speak
00:39:56.320 life and you speak love. And you know
00:40:00.640 the one more study. And I just shared
00:40:03.119 this with people the other day. They
00:40:05.520 found that laughing and being positive,
00:40:09.119 you can look it up. It’s like some blood
00:40:10.640 study. It like killed cancer and like
00:40:14.240 was like really good and good
00:40:17.680 >> good. Laughing’s good.
00:40:20.800 >> I love to laugh.
00:40:23.200 But they saw they had like you have to
00:40:26.079 look it up, Erin. You’ll have to look it
00:40:27.760 up. But it’s this blood test where there
00:40:30.960 were these germs and when you laughed or
00:40:34.640 were positive, they came out and ate the
00:40:37.119 bad germs. But when you were scared or
00:40:39.359 watched a horror movie, it would eat the
00:40:41.839 good germs.
00:40:44.079 Germ, germ, germ, germ, germ, germ,
00:40:45.599 germ. I sound like a I don’t know what
00:40:48.560 I’m talking about.
00:40:49.680 >> All right,
00:40:50.000 >> but anyways,
00:40:51.920 let’s all think about good things. You
00:40:54.480 know, I have to tell you, this is
00:40:55.839 another thing I have to tell you. So, I
00:40:58.400 heard that saying good things
00:41:01.359 helped your brain be positive. So there
00:41:03.359 were so many years that I’d start
00:41:05.760 thinking negative when I woke up and
00:41:07.200 then I would just start singing and I
00:41:09.200 would start singing peace, love, and
00:41:11.520 happiness. Peace, love, and happiness.
00:41:15.200 Peace, love, and happiness. Peace, love,
00:41:16.800 and happiness. And you just start
00:41:18.319 singing that and running around. And you
00:41:20.240 know, maybe don’t run around or don’t
00:41:22.000 sing it out loud unless you want to be a
00:41:24.000 weirdo.
00:41:24.480 >> You certainly did.
00:41:25.280 >> I did. Do you remember me doing this?
00:41:27.119 >> Without a doubt.
00:41:27.839 >> I still kind of do it. But
00:41:30.960 take hold of your thoughts, people.
00:41:32.880 >> Jesus himself told us that the power of
00:41:34.720 life and death is in the tongue.
00:41:36.560 >> Amen. We just need to be focused on
00:41:41.119 staying positive and in prayer. And once
00:41:44.079 again, I highly recommend
00:41:48.000 anyone that loves our country and loves
00:41:50.319 God should be praying for our leaders,
00:41:53.280 especially President Trump.
00:41:54.720 >> I totally agree. And along the lines of
00:41:57.040 what we’ve been talking about the last
00:41:58.400 couple of podcasts with the things that
00:42:00.160 we’ve been looking into with the the
00:42:02.720 Jewish faith and Jewish history, I
00:42:05.119 recommend that people look into that
00:42:06.400 themselves, these types of things. And
00:42:08.160 you start to see a lot of things that
00:42:10.960 you may have been mistaken about.
00:42:13.839 >> And the thing is, they don’t know you.
00:42:15.440 You’re not like someone that is a
00:42:17.359 wishy-washy person. It’s like you’re
00:42:19.920 somebody that like imagine someone
00:42:21.599 literally like la
00:42:25.359 that was you for so long and it wasn’t
00:42:28.000 like I was trying to break you down. It
00:42:29.440 it would be just something an article or
00:42:31.200 something we’re reading and I’m like hey
00:42:32.400 Ken what what is that? Don’t talk to me
00:42:34.720 about this and he gets so you’d get so
00:42:36.800 mad. I’m like whoa okay I won’t.
00:42:38.319 >> No but then every now and then you it
00:42:40.800 right mindset and you’re like
00:42:42.960 >> well wait a minute that doesn’t sound
00:42:44.880 right. Or I’d be listening to something
00:42:46.560 on my phone and you’d be like next to me
00:42:49.520 and I wasn’t purposely it would just you
00:42:51.200 know how you’re flipping through stuff.
00:42:52.800 You say, "Wait a minute. What were you
00:42:54.880 just listening to?" And I’m like, "Oh,
00:42:57.680 you want to hear it?" Cuz I wanted to be
00:42:59.599 respectful to you. And so then you’d
00:43:01.520 listen and you’re like, "Wait a minute."
00:43:03.200 Instantly researching it yourself
00:43:06.480 >> and you’re like, "They lied to me."
00:43:10.400 >> In the words of Lavar Burton, don’t just
00:43:12.480 take our word for it. look into this
